We started TrashOS because we believed waste management companies deserved software as hardworking as they are.

Our Story

TrashOS was founded in 2022 by a team of operations specialists and software engineers who spent years watching waste management companies struggle with outdated tools. Dispatchers juggling paper route sheets, drivers navigating from memory, and office staff buried in spreadsheets — it was clear the industry needed a modern platform.

Our founders came from backgrounds in logistics technology, fleet management, and environmental services. They saw firsthand how fragmented software stacks and manual workflows were costing haulers millions in wasted fuel, missed pickups, and lost customers.

So they set out to build a single, unified operating system that connects every part of a waste management business — from the customer portal to the driver's cab to the back office. TrashOS launched in early 2023, and within 18 months, hundreds of haulers across North America had adopted the platform.
